What People's Say About Place

The place is quiet and clean. There was only one staff member on the floor that I could see who seemed to be the hostess and server. She did a wonderful job. I assume they had other staff to help her if needed but the place seems to be a mom and papa kind of restaurant. Place where the restaurant is located seems to be a small town so it is understandable that you don’t need so many people working all the time. With that being said the food was good if you like unseasoned food but they do have salt and pepper on the table to give your food some seasoning taste and sometimes that is all you need. But the food was juicy and not burnt so that is good. The one dish or should I say appetizers I would recommend is the fried mushrooms if you like crunchy outside and a juicy soft inside that just burst in your mouth when you bite down then this is for you.

A nice little place with a good family atmosphere and food that will satisfy you. We loved the little touches to make the food look different and have a unique feel. Not many places go to this level to stand out. If you're in the area, this is a great place to visit.

Breakfast here was excellent! By far the best diner drip coffee I've had in a while. The breakfast casserole was very good and one person in our party got a delicious cinnamon roll that was about the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful little discovery while out for a drive. Had dinner here and it was amazing. All home cooked home style cooking. They actually bread their own fish and have real mashed potatoes. Breakfast all day! We also had the west liberty omelette, it was amazing and full of fresh everything. If you have never been here it’s worth the drive to lovely West Liberty for this dynamite little place. Five stars for every category. Thank you for the pleasant surprise.

This is a sweet little place. They serve homemade comfort food. They have daily specials, and lots of desserts to choose from. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. This restaurant is up for sale after 30 years in business. The owner has hopes of selling to someone willing to keep the theme and staff. Good luck with the future of this quaint small town establishment.

First time here! Homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. All you can eat perch Fridays! Wonderful workers. Sadly the owner is retiring after 30 years and is selling the restaurant. So make sure you stop in and try the food

We stopped to eat here after going to Ohio Caverns. Quaint little place in a small town. Great service. Great food. My wife said she had the best Reuben sandwich she’s ever had. I have the turkey club and it was great too. Sometimes these restaurants in the small towns are the best places to visit.

Very good food, the music choice was ok, however the wait for food was quite long even though at one moment we were the only ones here. Bison burger was very good and reasonably priced. Friend said that the waffle fries were too crispy however I think they were good. He also noticed that the waitress gave him two extra glasses of lemonade without request. Overall, good dining experience and would recommend if you have just explored the ohio caverns.
